Good point on Drake being able to come off as soft, and Ja Rule trying to be thuggish. I respect your opinion, time will tell. I’m thinking he goes in a very different direction next album. I’m also a fan of Kanye’s 808 album. He’s like Ed Reed, he has earned the freedom to do whatever he wants. Drake hasn’t earned that yet, I think that’s why I’m disturbed by this album. He put out a second or third album (almost rightfully so since he’s blown up off of a couple of mixtapes already), but he hadn’t earned enough stripes to go all R&B like that. Yuck.
